What We Do

We want you to understand Dr. Kramer’s unique approach to patient care and why it is so effective.  The one minute “Why You Hurt” video above does a great job explaining the major cause of pain that most doctors miss.  If you haven’t watched it, take a look.

Ask any engineer and they will tell you that the structure of an object determines how it will function.  If the structure of any object (including your body) is changed, the function will change as well.  So, your body’s structure determines its function.

As the result of injuries, stress and general “wear and tear”, the bones of your body can misalign. Muscles get sore, nerves get pinched or stretched, and joints get inflamed as a result.  You feel pain, but you may not relate that pain to bones being out of place. There are lots of practitioners who treat body alignment.  Lots who treat muscles, nerves, and ligaments too.  So why see Dr. Kramer ?  Because he knows a secret.

Here it is.  As the video explains, there are two types of body structure misalignments.  Primary shifts and secondary shifts.  Primary shifts happen when a bone moves out of place in a way that muscles cannot self-correct.  Secondary shifts happen as the body attempts to counterbalance for primary shifts.  Secondary shifts create pain, because muscles and connective tissues tense up to create the counterbalance.    But, secondary shifts can only be corrected by muscles after the primary shift is re-aligned.

So for example, you may have neck pain.  The neck, which is often misaligned as a secondary shift, may be compensating for a primary shift in the mid-back.  If the primary shift in the mid-back is re-aligned, the body will re-align the secondary shift and the neck pain goes away.  Stretching exercises, massage, electro-stim.,and standard chiropractic may temporarily help the pain and muscle tension in the neck.  But, until the primary shift in the mid-back is corrected, the secondary shift and the associated neck pain will not resolve.  This is why it is important to have chiropractic treatment that corrects primary shifts

Over time, people end up getting more and more primary and secondary shifts due to injuries and general wear and tear.   If left untreated, the body stiffens up to a point where movement gets restricted.  You lose the ability to run, throw, lift, walk, climb, and crawl like you used to.

Dr. Kramer uses his method of chiropractic care to re-align your body.  His method differentiates between bones misaligned in a way your body can’t self-correct (Primary Shifts), and mis-alignments that the body can self-correct (Secondary Shifts).   Adjustments are performed from the front to the back instead of face down or lying on the side.  This type of chiropractic adjusting is what corrects primary shifts.  When the primary shifts are fixed, pain is relieved, muscles relax, and joints loosen up.  As a result, you can start doing things you haven’t done in years.

Sometimes an injury to a ligament, muscle, or tendon can be so bad that it needs help beyond what the body’s own healing mechanisms can do. Other times, an athlete may need to get back to competition as quickly as possible.  In these cases, Dr. Kramer uses modalities like Dry Needling and Shockwave Therapy to speed up the healing processes in those tissues.  The combination of Dr. Kramer’s chiropractic method and these therapies allow healing to take place faster than normal medical treatments allow.  What is normally accomplished in months can be done in weeks and what normally takes weeks can be done in days.

Dr. Kramer uses Endonasal Cranial Correction (picture shown above to the right) to open up nasal airways to improve breathing, sleep, posture, and sports performance.  This method is easier, quicker, and more effective than balloon sinuplasty at a fraction of the cost.

As you can see, Dr. Kramer has a lot to offer to help you get better.  But it doesn’t stop there.  When you become a patient, you will get a free copy of Dr. Kramer’s book, “Why You Hurt and What You Can Do About It”.  It will give you simple and cost effective ways to manage your health so you can prevent problems in the future. We want you to “Get Back In The Game” and stay there.

Seeing is believing and feeling is believing. Check out the before and after pictures below. You can get results like this and feel the difference Dr. Kramer can make in your life.  Call us today, at 262-293-3790  Your body will thank you.
